ABOUT CLOUDGUARD

Security operations built for Google Workspace and Google Cloud.

CloudGuard was created by engineers who spent years managing enterprise Google environments. We build real-time detection systems with zero data retention invariants, verifiable test suites, and cryptographic boundaries.

Who we are

The team, background, and operational philosophy

Google SecOps practitioners

Our team comes from infrastructure security, directory federation, and Google Cloud operations. We spent years wrestling with delayed audit logs, scattered console views, and third-party tools that demanded full inbox read access.

Zero-storage advocates

We hold a strict engineering commitment. CloudGuard does not store employee email bodies, plaintext passwords, or unencrypted OAuth secrets. If an inspection does not require permanent storage, we keep it in memory and discard it immediately.

Open verification culture

We publish our cryptographic test suites, isolation boundaries, and architectural whitepapers. Every customer can run our test suite locally or inspect our automated test reports to verify multi-tenant SQL isolation.

Our architectural rules

01.Read-only audit default. CloudGuard operates in passive audit mode by default. No automatic policy modifications or mailbox actions occur without explicit administrator consent.
02.Zero email body retention. Quarantined email inspection analyzes headers, SPF, DKIM, and attachment hashes without saving the message body to database disks.
03.Strict tenant scoping. Every SQL query runs with an enforced tenant predicate. Cross-tenant data exposure is impossible by construction.
04.Sub-second correlation. Directory breaches and GCP service account events correlate in under 1.5 seconds so security leads can respond before rogue infrastructure runs.

Why we doing this?

The problem in cloud identity and why legacy tools fail

The Problem

Google Workspace is the front door, GCP is the engine room.

When an employee credential leaks on public breach markets, attackers do not just log into webmail. They create Google Cloud service accounts, download JSON keys, assign Editor permissions, and spin up hundreds of compute instances for cryptocurrency mining or model fine-tuning.

By the time an admin notices the monthly Google Cloud invoice, thousands of dollars have been spent. Traditional SIEM tools require weeks of configuration and generate endless alert fatigue without correlating directory identity with cloud IAM velocity.

Our Answer

Instant correlation without compromising corporate privacy.

We built CloudGuard to connect Google Workspace directory signals directly to Google Cloud audit telemetry in real time. If an identity appears in a dark-web credential dump, we immediately audit whether that account recently created service account keys or altered IAM policy.

Most importantly, we refused the industry habit of hoarding customer data. Traditional SaaS security vendors ingest and store entire mailboxes, turning their own databases into prime targets. CloudGuard verifies threats in memory, stores zero message text, and keeps your data inside your own perimeter.
